Colònia Güell
Colònia Güell is one of the best-preserved Modernist industrial colonies in Catalonia. Founded by Eusebi Güell, it was conceived as a community where workers had access to housing, services and facilities such as the school, theatre, athenaeum and parish centre, improving their quality of life.
The site stands out for its rich architectural heritage, featuring Modernist buildings designed by architects associated with Gaudí. A visit offers the opportunity to explore its streets and public spaces, discover the history of the colony and appreciate the cultural legacy that has made it a protected heritage site.
The visit culminates at Gaudí's Crypt, a masterpiece of Modernist architecture and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
